Dedicated servers (planned)

Dedicated servers

Dedicated servers give you an entire physical machine: every core, all of the memory and every disk, with no hypervisor between you and the hardware. They are on our roadmap, and we have not set a date.

What is a dedicated server good for?

  • Large databases and storage-heavy services
  • Running your own virtualisation or containers at scale
  • Workloads with compliance or isolation requirements
  • Predictable performance with nothing shared

About dedicated servers

More on plans, billing and support in the FAQ.

What is a dedicated server?

One physical machine used by one customer. There is no hypervisor, so you get every core, all of the memory and every disk to yourself, and can run your own virtualisation or use the hardware directly.

Should I choose a dedicated server or a VDS?

A VDS gives you reserved processor cores inside a virtual machine and is usually quicker to set up and resize. If your workload fits on a large VDS, that is normally the simpler choice. If it needs the whole machine, direct access to the hardware or strict isolation, a dedicated server is the right tool.

When will dedicated servers be available?

We have not set a date. Register interest with the processor, memory, storage and location you need, and we will contact you when the first configurations are ready.
